On Jan 4th, Hong Seok-cheon wrote on his SNS account, “Nodrug.”

He expressed concern, “Is this why people go to parties? Being dragged out while high… Some even die like that. Don’t go to overseas year-end parties. I worry about the young ones.”

Along with his post, Hong Seok-cheon shared a screenshot from a video taken at an overseas party. The image shows a man appearing to lose control, being dragged away by someone else.

The man in the footage seems to be under the influence of drugs. Hong Seok-cheon’s warning seems to stem from concerns about individuals, particularly young people, unknowingly encountering drugs while attending such parties abroad.

Meanwhile, Hong Seok-cheon is known as South Korea’s first openly gay celebrity. He debuted in 1995 through KBS’s University Comedy Contest as a part of the 12th public recruitment and has since remained active in various broadcasting roles.
